Pian de Cea
From Claut in the extensive valley of the same name through a lot of forest and the mountains, this 25 km long tour leads to waterfalls and a rock face with dinosaur tracks.
The entry point is on the Cellina River on the SP 5. First you cross the river over a footbridge and then follow the gravel road up through the deciduous forest. In some places, the steep slopes are supported by concrete walls. Through many hairpin bends, the slope goes steadily uphill. The road becomes narrower and is deeply gravel in the first section. In the next section, the path is provided with a sward. You reach the popular Rifugio Pradut, from whose terrace you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view. From here it goes partly steeply downhill through the forest. You get to a small paved road and you can take a detour to the Pian de Cea. The narrow single-lane road turns into a gravel road again and ends at a parking lot. Through the dried up riverbed, along a concrete path, you reach the clearing of Casera Casavento. A relaxed place in the middle of nature, surrounded by goats, sheep and cows. A hiking trail leads to a rock face with dinosaur tracks and many small hidden rocky spots with waterfalls at the foothills of the river. Back from this detour, go straight ahead to Lesis, where the tour ends.
