We’re Iris and Mike, and we’re originally from the Netherlands. We’re currently travelling full-time in our motorhome; our plan is to explore the outlying regions of Europe. Eight years ago, the Pan-American Highway sparked our passion for travel. Back then, we were travelling in a Toyota 4Runner with a roof tent. Now we’re travelling in our Hymer Sprinter 4x4 motorhome. We began our journey in the UK, then headed to the Nordic countries. Little by little, we’ll be making our way towards Eastern Europe and Georgia to enjoy plenty of winter fun on ski tours. After that, we’ll probably travel on to Morocco, but we’ll see how it goes.
We lead an active lifestyle: Iris is an ultra-runner and running coach and is currently training for the UTMB Andorra 100M in 2027. Mike enjoys mountain biking and is a keen skier. These activities generally shape our daily lives and fuel our longing for seclusion and nature. We try to travel as far away from civilisation as possible and set off in search of unspoilt trails (and roads) in our trusty motorhome.
