I drove this trail in mid-May; it’s rated red—meaning intermediate—in difficulty. I’ve discussed with Peter from Offroad Atlas that it should be reclassified as black. The off-road experience listed in the description is absolutely essential!!! Ideally, please don’t drive it alone like I did! Due to erosion, the longitudinal ruts, washouts, and large mud holes described have become significantly larger. The middle section requires the utmost concentration, as the trail consists only of very large loose stones, and there is no room to swerve due to the bushes on both sides. The same applies to the mud holes. On the way down, it is very muddy and slippery. There is currently heavy construction equipment there, but it can be driven around. However, if you’re into challenging trails, this is definitely the place for you 😉

Pista Grosin
There is an off-road track to the west of the Rio Aragón valley that doesn't have any particular scenic advantages, but is a lot of fun to drive. The Pista Grosin leads from the village of Guasillo (above Jaca) into the mountains, follows them from south to north, and finally enters the Aragón valley again at Aratorés. A route that requires a certain level of off-road experience.
Start in Jaca. The old town is located 820 meters above sea level on the banks of the Rio Aragón and is a kind of district town with around 13,000 inhabitants. The Romanesque cathedral and the citadel are worth seeing here. A small asphalt road leads up to the village of Guasillo, three kilometers away, where a dirt road turns into the forest. This continues uphill until you reach the Collado Paco de Serrés (1,150 m). The challenging path with its longitudinal gullies, washouts and mud holes requires some attention.
The path now follows the mountain ridge, crosses the Collado Cantera Cajigo at an altitude of 1,322 meters and reaches its peak at Estuche at 1,361 meters. Shortly afterwards, the path meets asphalt and circles down into the Aragón valley via Aratorés.
