A beautiful route that we highly recommend to everyone. Unfortunately, we couldn't complete the entire tour because we had to turn back at a small stone house (roughly at the highest point) due to a snowfield blocking the path. Only enduro bikes were able to get past.

Collet de la Gralla
Coming from Setcases on road no. 5264, you will find the start of the track about one and a half kilometers before the town of Vilallonga de Ter. Cross the Riu Ter, and soon after, the road surface changes from asphalt to gravel at the hamlet of Tregurá de Dalt. A handful of switchbacks follow, all of them round and easy to drive. The route is medium-wide and covered with fine gravel. You drive straight ahead for a while on a mountain ridge, enjoying the views to the left and right and crossing the unspectacular Collet de la Gralla at an altitude of 1,961 meters. As on the Collada Fonda, you are mostly alone up here and find a quiet, rustic landscape. Just the right thing to counterbalance the stressful everyday life at home.
On the way down, you should enjoy the last views before the path plunges into the forest. At the end, it serves up a few more hearty bends before hitting asphalt between Pardines and Ribes de Freser. The pretty town of Ribes is definitely worth a detour - for its medieval streets and its honey.

Absolutely beautiful. Just before the finish line, there’s a huge boulder in the way, but you can drive around it in a bus. Marmots are everywhere with their young, playing in the meadows. It’s so beautiful—I could do this all over again anytime!
