Coll de Sereres
Mostly it leads through dense forest, the gravel road from the Ribaborcana valley to the east into the valley of the Tor river. But when it emerges from the shade of the trees every now and then, it literally throws views all around it. Above all, the bright red color of the rocky slopes towering everywhere enchants the off-roader. This is exactly what this track does in terms of driving technique. Because its surface varies between easy, difficult and quite difficult. This makes this trip an experience for the heart and soul in equal measure.
Behind the cemetery of Vilaller, the track branches off to the right, well signposted. It is a bit rutted after rainfall, but overall it is a decent ride. It swings uphill in beautiful curves, reaches the Coll de Sereres at an altitude of 1,350 m, then leaves the forest and surprises with a magnificent view down to the Escales reservoir.
The following stage through a fascinating landscape of red rocks is quite something. Visually and in terms of driving. Visually, because of the red rock, and in terms of driving, because of the deep longitudinal furrows and rough stones on the track. You have to maneuver over them with great care to avoid getting stuck. From the signpost to Llesp, the situation eases again, and you head down into the Tor valley on decent gravel.
