From Lascuarre to Luzàs
On the northern edge of the Sierra del Castillo de Laguarres there is a short gravel stretch that connects the Isàbena valley eastwards to the N-230 road. It is only nine kilometres long, but it overcomes the difference in altitude from 650 metres up to 874 metres and then back down to 785 metres. A short but intense off-road experience that should not be missed.
In the centre of Lascuarre there is a road sign pointing towards Luzás, which we follow. The gravel immediately rattles under the wheels and we head steadily uphill through mixed forest and across meadows and fields. Easy driving on a wide road with a firm surface. After about five kilometres the track reaches its peak at 874 metres, then gradually approaches the asphalt country road, always slightly uphill and downhill, which takes us to the right to the N-230 four kilometres away.
