At the Collada de la Corba
From the Coll de Fadas you can not only take the off-road tour to Seira (see previous tour), but also drive further down to Castejón de Sos for another off-road adventure. About a kilometer before the town, turn right towards Liri/Arasán, keep right at the next T-junction to Arasán and after about 500 meters turn left onto a gravel road. A wide, harmless slope winds its way up the mountain through meadows, pastures and cattle paddocks, almost treeless. The result is great views. After nine kilometers, a fork comes into view. We keep left and take a two-and-a-half kilometer gravel road up to a viewing platform below the 2,378 meter high Collada de la Corba mountain. On the left, the 2,728 meter high Gallinero greets us - what a panorama.
Back from the junction, we continue uphill, cross the highest point of the route at 2,300 meters and descend into a picturesque high valley. The two-and-a-half-thousand-meter peaks are grouped in a semicircle around the valley and give the scenery a magical touch. The peace and solitude is unique. You hear nothing except the sound of the wind. This makes the return journey down to Castejón difficult.
