The starting point for this literally "breathtaking" tour is the charming mountain village of Rupit. Its approximately 300 inhabitants live at an altitude of 900 meters in a true idyll of natural stone houses, cobbled streets and cozy restaurants and bars. The different sized stones of the houses are fascinating, but they still appear completely homogeneous. Rupit is old; it first appeared in a document around the year 1000.

The scenic highlight of the place is its viewpoint on a steep wall with a view of the Salt de Sallent waterfall. You can reach it from Rupit from the north by following the Salt de Sallent sign after three kilometers of country road to the left. A gravel track leads down to the Mirador, which appears after one kilometer. The water of the Sallent falls vertically down the light rock walls, with green hills towering behind them. A picture like a painting.

The route continues through a wide but flat ford of the Riera de Rupit. A short, steep climb follows, after which the tires roll north on decent gravel with little difference in height. At the hamlet of el Llorà, the track makes a U-turn and curves leisurely past the settlement of la Fontana down to the C-153 road, where this circuit ends.
