There is a border crossing at the Luschaalm that connects Bad Eisenkappel or Globasnitz in Carinthia, Austria, with Crna in Slovenia. However, this crossing is only open to pedestrians and cyclists and only during the summer season (from April 1 to October 31). Access to the border crossing is possible from the Slovenian side. A narrow sunken road branches off from a wide gravel road to the border crossing. No border barriers further up.
There is a barrier on Austrian territory that can at least be bypassed by two-wheelers. However, further north, before the Luschassattel, the road is no longer accessible. This barrier can only be bypassed by cyclists and pedestrians
