Dom planincev Farbanca
This approximately 6 km long route connects the towns of Vransko in the valley of the Bolska in the south with Nazarje at the confluence of the Dreta and Savinja in the north via an unpaved saddle. When driving from south to north, after the gravel begins, there is only a little uphill before the route descends continuously for a long time. Well after the saddle is the Dom planincev Farbanca hut, which was in operation at the time of the journey (Sunday 08.09.2024). Even after that, it continues downhill and at some point you can see the hamlet on the opposite slope where the tarmac road begins again. But it goes uphill relatively steeply and in tight bends, which prompted me to give it difficulty level 2. With my pure front-wheel drive car, I had to keep going to keep moving. Since the ground is a bit rougher, as can be seen in the pictures, it takes a bit of "overcoming" to drive the car through it.
Shortly before the end of the gravel there is a view into the valley of the Dreta/Savinja.
