Expect oncoming traffic, beautiful view from above

This beautiful 14 km tour with some steep sections leads from Vorderberg up to the Werbutzalm. Magnificent mountain panoramas and views of the Gaital valley await you.
From the B 111, take the L 27 to Vorderberg. Follow a small tarmac road through the village along the Vorderberger Wildbach stream. At the end of the village, a forest path leads towards the Werbutzalm and shortly afterwards the gravel track begins. The well-maintained track winds steadily uphill through the forest. The steep climb is noticeable. When you reach the first clearings, you will have beautiful views of the mountains and the scattered alpine huts in the alpine surroundings. At the end of the route is the alpine pasture and some typical alpine huts. On the plateau, you can relax in the fresh air and enjoy the fantastic view of the valley. The same route leads back downhill to the starting point.
