!!! Attention: Closure! According to a report from the community, the route is partially closed due to work (as of August 2024).
The 16 km tour begins at Podlanig on the B 111 near Kötschach. A unique chapel and a quarry are located along the route, which is surrounded by beautiful alpine meadows and peaks.
From Podlanig, a tarred road leads past a few farms and downhill through hairpin bends to the River Gail. After the village of Wodmaier, the route climbs uphill through the forest and the gravel track begins. You cross a few cattle grids and reach a small quarry. A side track leads on to the spectacular, tiny Hubertus Chapel, which was built on a rock. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the wonderful mountain air. The trail descends along the Wolayer stream bed. Through the forest and past a small cottage, the last section leads back to a tarred road. The relaxed tour ends in Nostra, below the B 111. Passing a war memorial, you reach the main road via a winding road and a bridge over the Gail.
