Tracks through the country side of Montenegro

For those seeking a picturesque tour combined with straightforward off-road fun, this is the perfect destination. The route consists entirely of well-maintained gravel roads in excellent condition.
To reach this rural paradise, ascend from the Tara Valley via the M 6, climbing a mountainside until you reach the small village of Kosanica, home to just 200 residents. From there, take a right turn onto a surprisingly smooth gravel road. Open meadows alternate with dense forests, ensuring plenty of variety along the way. Time and again, you’ll cross bridges or ford shallow streams, but everything is manageable, with ample space for even larger vehicles. A bit north of Mijakovići, the gravel road meets the main M 6 highway, bringing this scenic rural loop to an end.
