Once lengthwise and once crosswise – two of the most beautiful off-road tracks through the Sinjajevina have already been described on the previous pages. However, there is a third option to "experience" this unique high plateau – the ascent from the east, from the Tara Valley. This tour not only ranks among the most visually stunning routes through Sinjajevina, but also promises pure driving fun.
The journey starts in Polja, about five kilometers west of Mojkovac. Before setting off, be sure to visit the beautiful Orthodox church there. The turnoff from the R 10 is located near a hotel and is hard to miss. The route doesn’t waste any time, and immediately the gravel crunches under our wheels. In sharp switchbacks, the narrow track winds steeply up the slope. Dense forest blocks views back towards the Tara Valley. No matter, as the track itself is a delight. Around ten kilometers later, the high plateau is reached. The road widens, but also becomes more challenging. Large stones and deep ruts present obstacles, and often the ground becomes muddy and slippery. Without four-wheel drive, it's the end of the road for cars. At the hamlet of Katun Muleče, a T-junction appears. Here, you can either turn right towards Žabljak or left back towards Mojkovac. Both options are on gravel roads.

This trail is a good option for ascending or descending the Sinjajevina Plateau. In my opinion, it's better than the ascent route located about 5 km to the west
