Panorama track to Trešnjevik-Pass
From the Lim Valley up to the Trešnjevik Pass, there are two options: one fast and boring, and the other slow and exciting. The boring route follows the asphalt road R19. The exciting route takes a gravel track. For off-road enthusiasts, the choice is obvious.
Starting in Andrijevica, you drive a short distance to the hamlet of Božiće, where you’ll find the gravel track. Follow it along the course of a small river. Two kilometers further, a forest path branches off to the right. This path winds uphill for two to three kilometers, presenting the driver with a few rough and slippery patches along the way. Once you reach about 1,200 meters in elevation, the landscape opens up, revealing sweeping views of the surrounding peaks.
The track then crosses a sort of high plateau, with the terrain constantly changing: fine gravel, coarse gravel, dirt – the surface is always shifting. Near the hamlet of Plovi, the track makes another push, climbing the southern slope of Trešnjevik in wide arcs. A stunning view of the towering western Komovi mountains emerges. At 1,640 meters, the route reaches its highest point before descending toward the village of Krajišta, where it reconnects with the asphalt.
A gentle downhill stretch brings you to the Trešnjevik Pass, located just two kilometers away on the right.
