This 10 km long tour with two sections takes you high into the vast landscapes of the beautiful Velebit Mountains.

From the coastal town of Starigrad Paklenica you reach the starting point of the route. You first drive up the mountainside on a tarmac road and reach a pass. The track begins at a car park directly at the national park. The first section leads downhill on dusty ground, then up a hill with a few stone houses. There is a cave entrance here. You should go on a little exploratory tour. From this section you drive back into a second part. On a hard-packed gravel track, the route winds its way through the hills and up rocky slopes into the beautiful mountain world. You reach a plateau. In some places the ground is gravelled and has ruts, boulders extend right up to the unpaved, rough gravel track. It leads over wide meadows on a plateau with isolated groups of conifers. A small church with wooden benches and a fountain is located along the route, behind which is a collection of holiday homes surrounded by stone walls. This is the end point of the tour. On the way back you cycle downhill along the same route and enjoy the unobstructed view of the coastal towns and the beautiful sea.
