Hairpins to Gornji Lapac

The 11 km long, easy tour leads through magical nature with lots of forest and pastureland into the mountainous landscape of the Croatian hinterland. The second section of the route zigzags through endless bends.

The starting point of the route is between Bruvno and Dobroselo. In a wide plain with a few villages, the route goes from the winding tarmac road to the gravel track. First, the track leads downhill in gentle curves, along individual groups of conifers. In some places it is bordered by stone blocks at the edge. After a steep slope section, it enters the forest. The gravel track then leads downhill in many bends, a perfect driving experience. Continuing along the track, you come to a barren clearing with individual farmhouses. The last section of this tour leads along the track surrounded by deciduous trees, along fenced pastures. Until you reach the end point of the tour on the D 218. The small town of Donji Lapac is surrounded by a wonderful hiking area with countless river branches, waterfalls and the Ozeblin peak, the highest mountain in the Lička Plješivica mountains.
