Petrova Gora

A street leads through the forest with no view to the "Memorial to the Uprising of the Residents of Kordun and Banija" against the occupiers in World War II, or in short: to the Petrova Gora monument. From the monument at almost exactly 500m above sea level, it goes continuously downhill to less than 250m above sea level. The path is in good condition and is regularly serviced and maintained for the forestry industry. Some branches tempt you to continue on supposedly "better" paths. Usually these paths quickly become significantly worse or end in a turnaround loop for the timber trucks.
