This 10 km route offers a relaxed driving experience and leads through the pristine landscape of the southern Croatian island of Hvar. The destination is a fortress with a fantastic view of the bay of the port town of Hvar.
From the coastal road 116 you can reach the entry point of the route via the D 6252. The gravel road begins behind the church in the town of Brusje, with ruins of old stone buildings in the surrounding area. It first leads past a few groups of trees. Olive groves and vineyards on the slopes, and holiday homes are also scattered throughout the beautiful landscape. The road winds through the wonderful nature. The second section of the road is pleasant to drive on. The end point of the route is at the historic Fort Napoleon and impresses with great views of the port of Hvar, the bays and the many tiny islands. The place is still an insider tip. A narrow tarmac road leads from here back to the main road. After the tour, a stay in the town of Hvar is recommended.
The shady alleys of the old town are perfect for strolling. There are countless cafés and restaurants at the beautiful harbor. Or you can use the typical bathing plateaus to sunbathe or swim in the sea.
