Bays on the south coast
The track begins in Gdinj on the island's main road D116, which initially leads south and winds its way down to the sea in numerous serpentines. Despite the occasional deep, loose gravel, the wide track is easy to drive on.
Once you have reached the bottom, the path follows the coastline, always a little higher than sea level. The coast itself is difficult to reach.
The track is well maintained and easy to drive on, interrupted only by an asphalt road through the town.
A picturesque drive through in places dense, Mediterranean coastal forest leads from bay to bay, many of which are "occupied" by private holiday homes. The drive back to the island's main road to Bogomolje has 2 more bends and is mostly asphalt.
