On the Promina

In pretty Dalmatia, this branch route leads 12 km up into the beautiful mountains. Along the slope with some steep sections. The view is breathtaking.

The entry point of the route is not far from Drnis on the D 6055. You turn off onto a single-lane tarmac road in the direction of the mountain village of Lisnjak. The wide gravel road begins above the village. From the route you can see far over treeless meadows and pastures. The track winds uphill in serpentines. Past a spring with a fountain, a small wooden bridge and a covered wooden bench. You can experience wonderful views at the Planinarski Dom Promina mountain hut. In the last section the track is bumpy, over scree-like ground it continues uphill to Cavnovka. The route ends at the summit with some ruins and a transmitter. Wooden benches invite you to rest in the peace and quiet of nature with the most wonderful mountain panorama and views all the way to the sea. You can go back downhill the same way, but be careful on the rocky sections.
