Malga Busa Novengo
A short spur route with many hairpin bends leads up to Monte Novengo. The 17 km long tour leads to the beautiful Novengo plateau and back into the valley. The entry point can be reached from the SP 46 near Schio.
From the small village of Contra Rossi, you first ride over a small piece of tar. Then continue uphill on an easily passable gravel road. Over many sharp hairpin bends along wide alpine slopes. Beautiful views can be enjoyed directly from the path, as there are no trees along the way. Once on the plateau, you will find a small observatory with cozy picnic areas. The end point of the engraving is the typical alpine pasture, Malga Novengo. Wide views over the hills and the wonderful valley await you here. From the plateau, you can hike to the small Forte Rivon on the summit of Monte Novengo and watch climbing marmots in the hilly surroundings. From the spur back you reach the SP 46 via the village of Santa Caterina. In the Venetian city there are many beautiful buildings, parks and squares to linger with cafes and restaurants.
