About ten kilometers north of Urzulei at the Passo Genna Silana on the SS 125, a short track branches off to the northeast, which leads on gravel that is easy to drive on to two interesting sites - a Nuragic village and a traditional Sardinian sheep farm. These two sights alone make the trip worthwhile.

On the first stretch, the track winds along the slope above the state road, then turns downhill and reaches the sheep farm with its Baraccu Sa Portiscara, the Sardinian shepherd's hut. It was built either from wood or stone or from both materials. Thanks to the old sheep farm, you can see very well how the shepherds used to live and work.

From there, you continue on foot down the mountain to the Nuragic site Villaggio Nuragico Or Murales. This interestingly combines the prehistoric Nuragic culture with more modern wall paintings, the Murales.

Back at the starting point of the tour, it is worth taking a look at the Monumento ai Tre Carabineri. It consists of three simple stone columns and blends beautifully into the landscape. The monument is in honour of the three Carabineri who were attacked and shot by bandits on May 9, 1951.
