Nice track, lots of washouts, requires sufficient ground clearance.

East of Monti di Ala
The Monti di Alà are a striking mountain range in the western part of Sardinia, known for their untouched nature, their historical and geological features. The Monti consist mainly of granite rock, which is one of the oldest geological formations in Sardinia. The massive rocks and calcareous cliffs that are scattered throughout the region offer a special aesthetic. The region is also a vital refuge for the Sardinian deer, which is now almost extinct.
An off-road track runs through the middle of this exceptional landscape, which not only offers a lot visually, but also sets standards in terms of driving. It combines pretty much everything that makes ambitious enduro riders and four-wheelers happy: deep longitudinal gullies, hard edges, smooth rock slabs, coarse gravel, fords, serpentines and mighty stones.
Immediately after the start in Oschiri, the first eye-catcher on the left is the church of Nostra Signora di Otti. The route then continues for a few kilometers on a fairly flat gravel surface. This changes when the track climbs the western slope of the Monti di Alà. This is when the aforementioned off-road features come into play. Once we reach the ridge of the Monti, the excitement subsides somewhat and we can admire the views. The final phase down to Buddusò is exciting again, then we reach the asphalt of the SP 10.
