Lago di Lauson
A nice 27 km long route leads up through the forest to Lago Lauson, which is surrounded by beautiful vegetation. From the town of Pinerolo on the SP 23, take the SP 169 towards Perrero.
The starting point for the tour is between the village of Trossieri and the picturesque village of Perrero. After a bridge, a narrow single-lane tarred road leads up through the deciduous forest. The hard gravel road that then begins, a little stonier in places, is bordered by stone walls in some sections. You can enjoy wonderful views of the valley. You pass a willow gate. Surrounded by beautiful meadows with flowers and a few herds of cattle, follow the path along the rocky slopes to the parking lot of Lago Lauson. Many stones and individual conifers surround the shimmering turquoise-green mountain lake with a picnic area. A place to relax in nature and the tranquillity of this unique mountain world. The trail heads downhill back to the starting point at Perrero in the beautiful Val Chisone.
