Starting at around 1,700 meters, there's a massive avalanche blocking the way; I think it'll take until June for it to clear. The hike up to that point is still great, though, and the view is amazing.

Colle del Termini
This 36 km out-and-back route starts and ends in Ormea. The small town, located on the SS28 in Piedmont, is easily accessible from the coastal town of Albenga.
The route begins with a narrow, single-lane, winding paved road from Ormea via Villaro. At the edge of the houses in Cascine, the gravel track starts. The first section follows a farm track with wide switchbacks climbing uphill. As the route progresses, the path becomes rockier and more earthen, with some areas of erosion. Along the way, vibrant flower meadows line the roadside and surrounding slopes.
The route reaches the Colle del Termini, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. A large iron sign marks the 1,190-meter-high pass, making it a perfect spot for photos.
The next section descends along a grassy path with scattered rocks before climbing again. In the final stretch, the track crosses a shallow streambed and ends at a meadow. Here, you’ll find a stone house and a built fire pit, offering a peaceful spot to rest.
After the tour, it’s worth stopping in Ormea for a break at a café, in the small pedestrian zone, or by the banks of the Tanaro River.

Conditions, closures and tips — from members who drove here recently.
The trail is passable as described. There are numerous sections where the path has been washed away, and in some places large rocks have fallen onto the trail. The final stretch to the stone house on the mountain is very challenging (steep and loose ground).
