A simple but beautiful route up to 2,100 metres. Due to the onset of winter, there are three short sections of snow, though the depth is less than 5 cm so far. Easily rideable on 22 October in sunny conditions.

Cormet d´Arêches
The Cormet d’Arêches serves as an excellent connection for anyone who has been traveling along the Route des Grandes Alpes. The ascent to this mountain pass begins in the village of Arêches. From there, the route heads south and passes the picturesque Lac de Saint Guérin. Up to this point, the road is still paved. Beyond that, depending on your perspective, the remainder is either a thrilling challenge or an enjoyable ride. Experienced drivers, however, need not worry— the gravel surface is firmly packed and easy to navigate.
The effort is well worth it: the high plateau around the summit offers truly spectacular views. The descent into the valley toward Aime is paved again, presenting little to no driving difficulty.
