The 16 km long tour starting in Embrun offers spectacular panoramic views of the French mountains, beginning at Mont Guillaume.

The entry point is at Puy Sanieres on the D9. The gravel track starts after a small village and climbs up in winding turns over endless meadows on a bumpy section. Continuing through a forest on very rocky terrain, the route reaches a paragliding ramp, offering breathtaking views. A detour leads to the legendary "Belvedere la Para," a viewpoint surrounded by a fence, with covered picnic benches above. From here, one can enjoy picturesque views of the valley with the wide expanses of the Durance River. The panoramic sight of mountains and lakes is unforgettable.
The route continues straight, initially along the slope with continuous wide views. Then, it winds through a stretch of forest. A detour leads uphill to a stunning waterfall. In the final section of the wide track, it descends, and you reach the village of Puy Saint Eusebe, where you reconnect with the D9.
A visit to the idyllic Lac de Serre-Poncon is highly recommended. The lake is surrounded by beautiful beaches with crystal-clear blue water. From the large Pont de Savines, which crosses the lake, you can admire both shores and the Durance Valley.
