Forest tracks, partly sandy, muddy when wet, ground clearance is an advantage.

A beautiful trail and stunning scenery—it's also great for walking or hiking.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely worth stopping to enjoy and explore nature. Occasionally there are deeper sandy sections (some of which are longer) or deep puddles after rain, but overall it’s easy to drive for a 4x4. Highly recommended if you’re traveling through the Südheide.

Beautiful route through the countryside. You can enjoy nature in a few places. The route is easy to drive for JEEP drivers 😉✌🏽

Closure or obstruction

Beautiful, easily passable route. However, the last section, where the route crosses the L281, is closed to vehicles over 3.5 t.

The route is passable. At the Rebberlah town limits heading toward Hermannsburg, just follow the road! At the beginning, there are some ruts in places; later on, there are 2–3 spots with quite deep sand! Didn’t see any “No Entry” signs. In my opinion, vehicles that are too heavy should avoid this route so as not to disturb the deep sand too much for vehicles following behind.
