To travel south from Shkodra toward Rreshën, there are two options: first, the two new but dull highways SH1 and SH5, or second, the ancient yet highly fascinating gravel track that winds through the picturesque Dibrit Valley. It's clear which one we’re taking.
The off-road adventure begins in Qerret, a small village located just off the SH5 highway, a bit south of Kçirë. The route more or less follows the Dibrit Valley. Along the way, you'll encounter the occasional bridge or ford, all of which are easily navigable. The road surface is covered in medium-coarse gravel.
About halfway through, the houses of the village of Kalivac come into view. Beyond Kalivac, the gravel becomes finer, allowing for faster and more comfortable driving. The route descends over a ridge into a serene valley, then continues along a sort of crest until it finally meets asphalt again in Bukmirë.

The trail is fully passable. The river was completely dry where we were, so unfortunately there was no ford. The first third is definitely the most beautiful part. Starting around the halfway point, the gravel road appears to have been recently repaved. Three stars because of the more scenic first section of the route.
The water line is no longer hanging high up. They fed the hose through a metal pipe on the floor.
In the last quarter of the route you drive into the middle of a farm, the family lives there in very poor conditions, the family has a water (overhead line) from the mountain into the house, we decided to turn around there even if the family wanted to help us get through, and drove another 20 km on gravel at the next fork to the next paved road. Probably possible for a motorcycle or off-road vehicle. With a height of 2.95 m, we couldn't get through.
