Over the Wistra saddle

The tour runs along the Karawanks ridge, in the immediate vicinity of the Austrian border. It begins after the 927 (Solčava panoramic road) or from Solčava on the 926 road in the direction of Črna na Koroškem.
At the beginning, the route leads over cracked tarmac as you drive past a few houses. On the left side rises the Gladki vrh mountain (1850 m), along whose slope the route leads into a short stretch of forest. From here, the surface changes to a well-compacted gravel track that climbs gently. Sections in the forest alternate with open terrain passages. Downhill, the track is secured by guard rails on the sides of the valley.
At the Plesnik (Robnik) farm at an altitude of 1120 m, the route runs along a short stretch of asphalt before heading back onto gravel through the next forest area. The trail winds its way up to the Wistra saddle (Spodnje Sleme pri Podol¬seva) at an altitude of 1254 m. Unfortunately, the mountain forest does not offer any views. Shortly after the summit, turn sharply left towards Koprivna. You reach the Haderlap farm via a short asphalt passage. The last stretch to Koprina leads on good gravel and two bends through the forest. From the Mojci inn, road 926 is asphalted again.
