Description
Most of the Whipsaw Trail is driven close to the tree line but in several places it goes into the Alpine meadows where views from the top are breathtaking on a clear day. The Falcon Hill climb can be trying for some trucks, but the result is exhilarating. Rough spots start after about 15 miles of easy forest road access. There are a number of rock shelves but all can be accomplished in dry weather. (Description from the BFGoodrich Outstanding Trails web site)
